*Breeder Referral*
(NOT owned by Brio)

Planned repeat breeding, in early Feb.,  of:
CH Burling's Red Baron for Brio, RN, ROM* x GCH Brio's It's A Wonderful Life, ROM
Their first litter together produced
GCH Brio 'N Hilltop's Enchanted,
CH Brio 'N Hilltop's Jungle Love 4Ever, and CH Brio 'N Hilltop's Princess Tiger Lily.
We are looking forward to seeing what this litter produces. If all goes as hoped, puppies will arrive at
Hilltop Boxers and Bostns, under the care of Stacie Kinnaird, around Easter time. :)
To be considered for a puppy, please fill out the form
HERE, and you will be added to the waiting list.
Approved show homes have preference over companion homes. Puppies are evaluated at 8 weeks of age,
and placed accordingly.

ALL SHOW PROSPECTS ARE PLACED ON CO-OWNERSHIP UNTIL
AKC CHAMPIONSHIP HAS BEEN ATTAINED, AND ALL AGREED
UPON TERMS HAVE BEEN FULFILLED. I DO NOT PLACE INTACT
ANIMALS WITH FULL OWNERSHIP, NO EXCEPTIONS.

ALL COMPANION PUPPIES ARE PLACED ON
LIMITED REGISTRATION ONLY
A spay/neuter contract is required to be signed, and proof of spaying/neutering must be submitted
to me within 1 year of puppy's placement. A dog with limited AKC registration can be entered into AKC sanctioned
performance (Obedience, Agility, Rally, etc.) events, but not conformation events.

Our goal for breeding is to produce our next show prospect, and any puppy/dog that we
do not keep is then made available to select homes. A particular puppy is not promised to
anyone, and deposits are not taken. Show potential is determined at 8 weeks, not before,
and approved show homes will have preference over pet homes. We also prefer to place
our puppies in homes where they are continued on a species appropriate RAW diet, and
are only vaccinated according to a reduced vaccine protocol. See our
"LINKS" page
to learn more about our protocols regarding diet and vaccinations.

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL INQUIRIES:
We do not breed just to sell puppies, but to produce our next show prospect.
We rarely breed more than one litter a year, occasionally two, and sometimes none.
We breed to produce AKC champions, with health testing a priority. If we decide to place a
Brio Boston outside of the USA at some point in the future, it will only be after it has completed its'
AKC championship, and has cleared all health testing. We will not sell an unproven puppy, that may not
turn out as hoped, so far away, and disappoint the  person who has paid a lot of money to get our puppy
imported. Also, we like to know where our dogs are living and the kind of lifelong care that they
will receive, and that is hard to do when you are on different continents.
Thank you for your understanding.

*Please note: We do not breed to supply the pet market, or to make a profit off of the puppies that we place.
We seldom breed more than one litter a year, sometimes none, and with all of the costs of raising a litter, health
testing, feeding premium foods, and traveling and showing our dogs through out the year, we are happy if we even
come close to breaking even. We only breed to produce our next show prospect, and any puppy that we do not keep
is placed in carefully screened homes, on show or companion contracts, as applicable.  We believe in quality over
quantity, and that every dog is special and should be a part of a family, and not kept in a kennel outside, or
treated as a possession. In the pursuit of our hobby of showing and raising healthy, quality Bostons, our house gets
crowded at times, forcing us to make decisions about placing a dog  or two, but only the best homes possible are
found before any of them are re-homed. On that note, we occasionally have an AKC pointed, or Champion, young
adult available to the right companion, Junior Showmanship, or performance home, to be spayed/neutered before
placement. It is always nice to get a slightly older dog, that is fully health tested, lead/crate trained, and well
socialized from going to shows and being around various sights and sounds, that still has lots of life and love to
give.  Please
contact us for availability, or to be referred to another reputable breeder who might have the
perfect dog for your family.
